Tips and tricks using Word to format your paper

We all know that first impressions are important. The formatting of your paper demonstrates that you understand that. Formatting a paper correctly shows me that you are the sort of student who takes the time and care to present their writing in the best possible way, and that you know what academic style is. I know that it can be tricky to comply with an instructor’s requirements about formatting, so the ESL Program has prepared a set of short professionally-produced videos in which an ESL 118 teacher explains and demonstrates how to format a paper for this course. You can view the videos in Canvas, or click on the title to be taken to the original site. Note that this set is for Mac.
