Helpful Add-ins to Use

You may want to use a software add-in to help you determine your stream type. Here are a couple that you may want to consider, based on your GIS program:

• • Google Street View Links to an external site. add-in by Gregg Roemhildt, works in Pro up to version 2.8.2
  • The Google Street View Links to an external site. add-in by Ian Broad, only works up to Desktop version 10.4 and should be considered deprecated.

Either of these may have on-the-ground imagery that gives you a view of the area in question. You may have to move along a road to get a view into the stream area you are determining.
