Attend introductory evening Zoom meeting

Your TA will host a special introductory all-class meeting using Zoom.  Your TA will send out an Announcement with the day, time, and Zoom address.

You can expect that your TA will first ask for a round of introductions to start the meeting, with each student mentioning their name, major, and internship site.  Your TA will also address any initial questions on how the course works and what is expected.

The rest of the meeting will involve an open discussion about your hopes (and any concerns) for your internship work this semester.  It is important to have a rough plan for what you want to accomplish at the start of an internship -- for example, learning about different functional areas of an organization, developing a particular technical skill, honing your customer service and conversational confidence, or just getting a good recommendation from your supervisor for your next internship. 

This meeting is also a great chance to ask questions of your fellow students to get their advice on handling internship work or leveraging your internship experience for future career success. 

This meeting is optional but you will earn extra credit if you attend.
