Week 2 Overview | Technology and Social Networking
"Networking" doesn't have to be scary -- and it doesn't necessarily have to involve online platforms (but that helps). This week we'll learn about some networking strategies and you'll do some assignments that begin to build your print and online presence. You'll also start reading some scholarly articles about the ways in which technology has shaped the workplace recently -- especially since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Goals
- Begin a resume and an online professional presence.
- Read and discuss scholarly articles on technology and work.
- Assess your writing and prepare for starting your essay assignment.
